New Home, New Town, New Country

Settling in. It sounds hopeful. It has taken almost two weeks to do so, navigating a much more laid back approach to almost everything takes some adjustment. Luckily, I am not one to hurry, been there, done that, don't do it now.

Here are photos of the new house in the neighborhood called Maya Vista in the twin towns of San Ignacio and Santa Elena, Cayo District, Belize.

And birds and butterflies!! Every morning I awaken to the races calls of parrots, I have seen toucans daily and parrots daily and have woodpeckers, green jays and other fun birds.

The butterflies flit about once it is warmer and sunnier.

At night fireflies dance across the lawn and the funky kinda roars of male geckos are heard often.
